Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris criticized the performance of the Egyptian national team against Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final.
The Egyptian national team lost to the Senegalese national team 1-0 this evening, Wednesday, in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final.
Sawiris said on the "X" platform after the match: "Only one shot on the Senegal goal in 90 minutes."
Naguib Sawiris reposted a tweet by journalist Ibrahim Eissa, which said: "The Egyptian national team holds its head high... We played within our means with honor, courage, and pride. Thank you, Hossam Hassan, and all the players of Egypt."
Sawiris responded to the post, saying: "It's nice within our means... don't let sadness and disappointment take over."
