Kroos: Barcelona Plays Attractive Football but Will Not Win the Champions League
Former Real Madrid player Toni Kroos believes that Barcelona cannot currently win the UEFA Champions League title, while expressing his admiration for the Catalan team's style of play.
Kroos said: "Barcelona is very happy with their victory in the Spanish Super Cup, but now comes the Champions League, where Barcelona will face top-level opponents, and I do not think they will win any international title."
He added: "I still hold the same opinion I had last season. At least from my point of view, Barcelona will not win the Champions League."
He continued: "If you are tired and do not change your style of play, it becomes very clear how exposed you are."
He went on: "Barcelona plays one of the most attractive styles of football in Europe, perhaps the most attractive, but they also take a lot of risks."
He concluded: "On a bad day from Pedri, Lamine Yamal, or Raphinha, any team can hurt them and eliminate them from the Champions League."
