A New Station for Al-Maliki.. Official Signing After Farewell to Al Hilal
Abdelilah Maliki, the international midfielder, has finalized his next step in his football career following the mutual termination of his journey with Al Hilal during the current winter transfer window.
Al-Maliki headed to Al-Diriyah Club, where he signed a professional contract lasting one and a half years, starting a new experience in the First Division League, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."
The same sources revealed that the player agreed to waive his financial dues, estimated at around three and a half million riyals, in exchange for terminating the contract and signing a settlement agreement with Al-Hilal.
The decision to leave came based on Al-Maliki's desire to take on a new challenge that would guarantee him more playing opportunities, following a decline in his presence with the blue team in recent times.
On Wednesday, Al-Hilal Club officially announced the termination of its contractual relationship with Al-Maliki by mutual agreement, expressing gratitude for his contributions to the team.
Al-Maliki joined Al-Hilal in January 2022, coming from Al-Ittihad, before an ACL injury interrupted his career. He then had a loan spell with Al-Ettifaq last season.
Al-Maliki hopes that his experience with Diriyah will be an important step in regaining his artistic level and making a strong comeback in the upcoming stage.
