Luis Enrique, the head coach of the French club Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his relief at the return of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi to match action, following his participation with the Moroccan national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, after recovering from an injury that had threatened his appearance in the continental tournament.

Enrique confirmed in media statements that Hakimi's return to the competition is an important step, explaining that the player participated in all stages of the last match against the Cameroon national team and contributed to the Moroccan national team's advancement to the semifinals.

The Paris Saint-Germain coach said: "It is important for Hakimi to get back into the competitive rhythm. He is in good condition and played fully in the last match. Reaching the semi-finals is important, but recovering from an injury is one thing, and regaining full fitness after the injury is another."

Enrique added that Hakimi has not yet reached his full technical and physical potential, noting that participating in matches will help him gradually regain his form. He emphasized that this phase will be beneficial for the club after the player's return from the tournament.

The Parisian team's coach concluded his statements by expressing his confidence that Hakimi will return to Paris Saint-Germain after the Africa Cup of Nations, fully ready.

Achraf Hakimi had sustained an ankle injury while playing for his team Paris Saint-Germain during the match against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. He then underwent an intensive treatment and training program that enabled him to join the African competition.
