Iwobi Warns of Facing Morocco and Describes It as 'Terrifying'

Alex Iwobi, the star of the Nigerian national team, expressed his admiration for the performance of the Moroccan team in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match, following their convincing 2-0 victory over Cameroon.

Iwobi confirmed during a live broadcast on his official Instagram account that he watched the match between Morocco and Cameroon, noting that the "Atlas Lions" appeared strong and formidable, thanks to having a group of outstanding players who compete in the top European leagues.

The Nigerian player touched on the upcoming semifinal match, saying: "We will face Morocco head-on; it will be a terrifying match in every sense of the word and will reveal the true face of African football," referring to the strength of both teams and the importance of the encounter.

It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan national team secured their spot in the semifinals after defeating Cameroon with goals from Brahim Diaz and Ismaila Sbaari, while the Nigerian team reached the semifinals following their 2-0 victory over Algeria.

The Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital, Rabat, is scheduled to host the intense match between the "Atlas Lions" and the "Nigerian Eagles" the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in a game expected to attract a large audience.
