Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai appeared in a press interview after the 0-0 draw against Arsenal in the 21st round Premier League clash.

The player said: "We faced an incredible team, and once again we showed why we were crowned champions last season. This was a step forward after the past few weeks, and yes, we proved once again against the top-ranked team that we are capable of competing. We need to build on this performance in the coming weeks."

And regarding Liverpool's fighting spirit: "I believe it’s always about fighting. He emphasized: "Of course, it's not easy to play here against such a great team, but I believe that no team prefers to play against the ball in the Premier League, so we tried in the first half to maintain possession as much as possible, and the same in the second half."

Regarding the inaccuracy of his shots: "It seems that I still need more training on free kicks, as well as on my shots, but they defended well and we earned a valuable point."

Regarding Martinelli's shove to Conor Bradley after the latter fell on the field: "I saw that Conor had twisted his knee, I don't know what happened to him. Clearly, he didn't want to go back on the field just to waste time. He was in so much pain that he couldn't even think about where he had fallen. Then Martinelli came and pushed him off the field."

He concluded: "I understand your desire to win, and we also want to win, but I believe the player's health is much more important than anything else."
