Official: Strasbourg Announces Appointment of Gary O'Neil as Head Coach

The official Strasbourg club announced the appointment of Gary O'Neil as the head coach of the first team, to strengthen the team's sporting project during the current season.

O'Neil is 42 years old and has extensive experience in high-level football, having played over 500 professional matches in England as an attacking midfielder. As a coach, he has managed 88 Premier League matches with Bournemouth and Wolverhampton.

O'Neil will conduct his first training session with the team on Thursday and will officially lead the team from the technical bench on Saturday in the match against Avranches as part of the French Cup competition.

O'Neil said: "I am proud to join this great club and look forward to starting the mission. Strasbourg has a unique history, exceptional passion, and great resilience, and of course, a loyal fan base eager to see the team play beautiful football and achieve success. We have a group of outstanding players and clear, ambitious goals for this season. My priority is to work hard with the team and give every possible effort for the club's success."
