The French club Strasbourg officially announced in a statement that it has signed English international Ben Chilwell on a contract that extends until 2027, coming from Chelsea FC.

Chilwell, who is 28 years old, is considered one of the prominent products of the Leicester City academy and was part of the historic squad that won the Premier League title in the 2015-2016 season. Later, he moved to Chelsea where he achieved significant success by winning the UEFA Champions League in 2021, and was also selected in the tournament's ideal lineup that season.

Chilwell had a successful loan experience last season with Crystal Palace, where he won the FA Cup. In terms of statistics, the left-back has made 177 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals and providing 18 assists. He also has 21 international caps with the England national team.

The Milton Keynes native now begins a new challenge with Strasbourg until 2027, adding his vast experience to the team's ranks.
