Liam Rossignol said in statements reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano: "I am about to become the new head coach of Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world," clearly indicating that an agreement between the two parties is close to being finalized.
He added: "Working as a coach for Chelsea is an incredible opportunity at a prestigious club, a world champion, and I cannot refuse this opportunity."
