Ali Al-Bulaihi, defender of Al-Hilal Club, is nearing the end of his journey with the blue team, as increasing signs indicate his departure during the current winter transfer window.

The Saudi sports newspaper revealed that Al-Bulaihi is no longer among the technical options for Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, the manager of Al-Hilal, for the remainder of the current season.

The newspaper explained that the international defender made the decision to leave in January, seeking to secure his place on the Saudi national team roster for the World Cup next summer.

Inzaghi's reliance on Balhiy remained limited despite the absence of Kalidou Koulibaly, who was occupied with the Senegal national team at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, preferring alternative defensive options within the lineup.

The technical staff resorted to deploying the Portuguese Ruben Neves in the backline, alongside fielding Muteb Al-Harbi as the left-back, which reduced Al-Bulaihi's chances of playing.

The report confirmed that more than one club is interested in acquiring Ali Al-Bulaihi's services during the winter transfer window, with his next destination expected to become clear in the coming days.

Al-Bulaihi's last appearance in the Al Hilal jersey was against Sharjah in the AFC Champions League Elite on December 22nd, before he officially stopped participating.

Al-Bulaihi played 263 matches with Al-Hilal over eight and a half seasons, during which he scored 23 goals and provided 3 assists, contributing to winning 13 domestic and continental titles.
