Mahmoud Trezeguet, the star of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the Pharaohs are ready to face Benin in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Egyptian national team will face the Benin national team tomorrow, Monday, in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Trezeguet said at the pre-match press conference: "We are ready for the match against Benin. We have closely followed the opponent in recent days, and we will play the game with full strength. Our sole goal is to achieve victory."

Trezeguet continued: "Our biggest goal is to dedicate the championship to the Egyptian people because that is the true goal ahead of us. Captain Hossam, Captain Ibrahim, and the coaching staff are putting in a great effort with us during training, and we often get close to the goal because the head coach provides us with many solutions to help us score."

Trezeguet continued, saying: "We aim to score against Benin, secure the necessary victory, and continue the journey until the end. Benin is an important step for us in the quest to win the Africa Cup of Nations title."
