Dortmund Announces Gross's Return to Brighton
Borussia Dortmund and Brighton & Hove Albion have announced that they have reached an agreement for the immediate transfer of German midfielder Pascal Gross to the English club.
The 34-year-old player thus returns to Brighton, the club he represented from 2017 until 2024.
This transfer came at the request of Gross, who sought to leave in search of more playing opportunities after not receiving the minutes he hoped for this season with Dortmund.
During his time with Borussia Dortmund, Gross participated in 66 official matches, scoring one goal and providing 17 assists.
Sebastian Kehl, the sporting director of Borussia Dortmund, said the club bids farewell to a professional player who contributed a lot on and off the pitch, wishing him and his family all the best in the next stage.
