Brighton Sets Sale Price for Balyba to Manchester United
Sunday 29-03-2026
Press reports have revealed that Brighton is ready to part ways with their midfielder Carlos Baleba in the upcoming period, amidst increasing interest from Manchester United in signing him.

According to The Sun newspaper, Brighton has acknowledged the difficulty of retaining the player and has become open to selling him for less than £100 million, which was the amount they demanded during the last summer transfer window.

Baleba joined Brighton in the summer of 2023 from French club Lille for approximately 27 million euros, and he is under contract with the English club until the summer of 2028.

During the current season, the midfielder has participated in 29 matches across various competitions without scoring or assisting any goals. However, he remains an important element in the team's midfield due to his defensive roles and ability to intercept the ball.

Manchester United's interest in the player comes as part of the club's efforts to strengthen the midfield in the upcoming period, especially with the departure of Brazilian star Casemiro at the end of the current season.
