Revealing the Duration of Paris Saint-Germain Goalkeeper's Absence
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, Russian Matvei Safonov, will be out of the field for a longer period than expected after suffering a fracture in his left hand. According to the French newspaper L'Équipe, his absence could last up to five or six weeks.
The Parisian club initially announced that the goalkeeper's absence would be limited to three to four weeks, but recent medical evaluations showed that the recovery process requires additional time, despite the player's partial return to physical training.
Safonov is currently still training without using his injured hand, wearing a protective brace, which prevents him from fully participating in group sessions or returning to official matches in the near future.
Safonov was injured after excelling and leading the Parisian team to win the Club World Cup against the Brazilian team Flamengo.
