Amr Adib Comments on Egypt vs. Benin Match
The famous media personality Amr Adib commented on the Egypt vs. Benin match in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Egyptian national team qualified for the Round of 16 after topping Group B with 7 points.
Benin qualified despite losing to Senegal 0-3 in the third and final round of Group D matches, finishing in third place with three points. They advanced as one of the four best third-placed teams to move on from the group stage.
Amr Adib said on the "X" platform: "I have very positive feelings about the Egypt vs. Benin match, even though most people are cautious and afraid. I don’t know if this is foolish optimism or a genuine feeling—we’ll find out on Monday. Let’s hope, everyone’s hopes have grown a lot, and we look strong and good like this."
The match between Egypt and Benin will take place next Monday at 6:00 PM Cairo time and 7:00 PM Mecca time.
