Al-Ahli Terminates Contract with Its Star by Mutual Consent
Tuesday 30-12-2025
Officials of the Saudi club Al-Ahli have resolved the case of the team player Abdullah Al-Amar, after agreeing to mutually terminate the contract between both parties in the past few hours.

The decision to terminate the contract came as a result of Abdullah Al-Amar being excluded from the plans of the German head coach Matthias Jaissle and not being relied upon technically in recent times.

Al-Yaum Saudi newspaper confirmed that Al-Ahli's management has agreed to the player's request to terminate his contract, due to the difficulty he faces in getting playing time with the first team.

In recent times, Ammar has distanced himself from appearing with Al-Raqi, which led both parties to reach an amicable solution to ensure the relationship ends without any conflicts.

Abdullah Al-Ammar had joined Al-Ahli Club from Damac during the summer of 2023, as part of the team's reinforcement plan at that time.

Al Ammar has played 35 matches for Al Ahly in various competitions, scoring one goal and providing no assists.

Al Ahli Club is preparing to face Al-Fayha today in the 12th round of the Saudi Professional League, aiming to improve its position in the standings.
