Latest Updates on Al Ahly's Negotiations with Dieng and El Shahat
Sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobeir revealed the latest updates on Al Ahly's negotiations with Aliou Dieng and Hussein El Shahat regarding the renewal of their contracts with the club.
Shobeir said in a radio statement: "The gap between Al Ahly club and Aliou Dieng has become wide at the moment... unless the player makes a sacrifice for the Red Castle and agrees to renew his contract with the financial offer presented by the club officials."
He continued: "Al Ahly Club is firm on the financial offer it made to Hussein El Shahat, but the gap between Al Qalaa Al Hamra (Al Ahly) and El Shahat is closer than the situation with Diagne. Meanwhile, Gradel's shares have started to decline at Al Ahly despite his great start, and they have begun looking for a replacement in the upcoming period."
Al Ahly faces the risk of losing a large number of players during the winter transfer window, either due to transfers abroad, being deemed surplus to technical requirements, or failing to reach an agreement on contract renewals.
