The Media and Communications Department emphasized that all news regarding the nomination of alternative names or changes to the technical staff are not based on any official information or decisions within the federation.

This clarification came in response to media reports suggesting the possibility of technical changes following the decline in the national team's performance at the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2023.

The Saudi national team ended its participation in the Arab Cup by sharing third place with the UAE team, which has sparked speculation about the future of the coaching staff.

Frenchman Hervé Renard continues his duties as usual, with his contract with the Green Falcons extending until the 2027 Asian Cup finals, and he will also remain in charge of the national team during the 2026 World Cup.
