Algerian national team coach Vladimir Bitković expressed his satisfaction with the overall performance his team delivered during the first match against Sudan, within the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations competition, emphasizing the importance of some standout players.

Bitković explained that several players showed remarkable levels, highlighting the prominent role played by Belghali, who competes in the Italian league, confirming that he proved his value within the squad.

He also addressed the situation of Ismail Bennacer, noting that he has become more ready at this time, making him an important element in the national team lineup.

The Algerian coach praised the performance of the new goalkeeper Zinedine, considering that he gave the team a sense of confidence on the field, especially given his good appearance despite it being one of his first participations with the national team.

Regarding the upcoming match against Burkina Faso, Bitković clarified that the game will be different in terms of conditions, while simultaneously stressing the necessity to improve some technical aspects, despite having achieved a 3-0 victory in the first match.
