Algeria wins gold medal at Mediterranean Games

The football competitions at the Mediterranean Games – Taranto 2026 concluded with the Algeria U21 national team being crowned the gold medalists.

Algeria have successfully claimed gold after defeating their Tunisian counterparts 2-0 in the final match, securing the title deservedly and adding a new achievement for Algerian football at the Taranto tournament.

In the third-place playoff, Morocco achieved a significant victory over Italy with a score of 4-1, earning the bronze medal.
