South African Coach Talks About Upcoming Match Against Egypt
Belgian coach Hugo Broos, the head coach of the South African national team, spoke about his team's upcoming match against Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The match between Egypt and South Africa will take place next Friday as part of the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Broos said, in statements reported by the South African newspaper "IOL": "Our next match is against the Egyptian national team, a strong and higher-level team, but perhaps such encounters are suitable for us."
He continued: "We don't know much about the Angola team, but we managed to show what we wanted during the second half. We will try to deliver the same performance against Egypt and avoid defeat after a good result."
He added: "A series of consecutive results is very good, but it is neither more nor less, so I don't focus on that. We just want to win every match, and that is our philosophy that we try to show on the field."
He continued: "If you ask me whether I want matches where I remain undefeated or to win the Africa Cup of Nations, I think you already know my answer—definitely winning the cup, that is our goal."
