Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have entered a direct battle to sign the left-back of Real Madrid, Víctor Valdepenas, who is 19 years old, amid increasing interest in his services in the upcoming period.

According to journalist Akram Connor on his personal account on the X platform, several other European clubs also want to sign him, most notably Bayern Munich, Juventus, Inter, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

Valdepenas is considered one of the most prominent rising defensive talents in the ranks of the Royal Club, as he caught attention with his performance during his first participation with the first team against Deportivo Alavés in La Liga.

Valdepenas had renewed his contract with Real Madrid until 2029, but the club plans to increase the player's salary, in addition to raising the release clause to 50 million euros, in a clear message reflecting Real Madrid's desire to protect their young player.
