Victor Font, the candidate for the presidency of FC Barcelona, has intensified his rhetoric against the current club management, calling for decisive legal action against Real Madrid's television channel.

Font said in a press statement: "I urge Barcelona to take action. The club should sue Real Madrid TV for producing videos that distort the competition and ultimately lead to severing relations."

He added, criticizing the club's policy of relying solely on statements adopted by the club and its president Joan Laporta: "Shouting and talking will not defend the club. Throughout his term, Laporta has been complicit with Florentino."

Font's statements come within the context of Real Madrid and its president Florentino Pérez's actions regarding the Negreira case, as well as the club's official channel's stance against refereeing and referees.
