Abdullah Al-Hamdan, the striker for Saudi club Al-Hilal, has taken a firm stance by rejecting his club's offer to renew his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the current football season.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Jazirah" revealed that Al-Hamdan rejected an official offer from Al-Hilal worth 12 million Saudi Riyals. The decision was made based on the advice of his father, Abdulrahman Al-Hamdan, the former goalkeeper.

The newspaper explained that the player's father's recommendation played a pivotal role in guiding his decision, amid the conviction that the next phase requires a new step in his professional career.

In contrast, Al-Nassr Club moved aggressively toward the deal, with its management expressing readiness to offer up to 18 million Saudi Riyals to sign Al-Hamdan in a free transfer next summer.

The report confirmed that the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head coach of Al-Nassr, requested the management to expedite finalizing the deal, considering that the Al-Hilal striker possesses the suitable qualities to strengthen the team's attacking power.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan currently receives an annual salary of 3 million Saudi riyals, in addition to other financial benefits, as part of his active contract with Al-Hilal Club.
