Emir of Qatar Comments on the Success of the Arab Cup
Tamim bin Hamad, the Emir of Qatar, commented on the success of the Arab Cup held in Qatar, which was won by the Moroccan national team.
Tamim said via the "X" platform: "We are proud of the Arab Cup tournament's outstanding organization and brilliant athletic performance, as well as the spirit of brotherhood and respect it embodied."
He continued: "Congratulations to the Moroccan team for winning the title and to the Jordanian team for being the runner-up. We hope that this football occasion continues to unite all Arab brothers."
Morocco defeated Jordan 3-2 in the final match of the tournament held yesterday evening, Thursday, to win the Arab Cup for the second time in its history.
