Based on the regulations and rules of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the Men's National Teams Committee has decided to record the match result as a goalless draw (0-0), with both teams sharing third place in the final tournament standings, without playing the match on the field.
FIFA also announced that the prize money allocated for the third and fourth places would be shared between the two teams. The prize for third place is $2.86 million, while fourth place receives $2.1 million. As a result, both the Saudi and Emirati teams will each receive $2.48 million after an equal distribution.
