King Abdullah of Jordan expressed his gratitude to his national team despite their loss in the final of the Arab Cup against Morocco.
Jordan lost to Morocco 3-2 in the Arab Cup final match held on Thursday evening at Lusail Stadium.
The official account of the King of Jordan posted a tweet on the "X" platform saying: "Thank you to the heroes of our national team and to our loyal fans... You made us proud... We wish the heroes success in the upcoming tournaments."
This is the second Arab title added to the trophy cabinet of the Moroccan national team, after winning the 2012 edition by defeating the Libyan team in the final through a 3-1 penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time.
