The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed the details of Barcelona club's offer to sign the young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel Karim, a youth player at Al Ahly club, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona is working to bring the player to Barcelona Atlètic starting from January, once he turns 18, as part of a plan to strengthen the team which is suffering from a shortage in the pure striker position.

The newspaper explained that Barcelona's offer includes a free loan for six months until next June, with a purchase option for 4 million euros, including 1 million euros as a fixed amount, in addition to performance-related bonuses.

The report pointed out that Hamza Abdel Karim participated with Egypt's national team in the Under-17 World Cup last November, where he scored two goals against Haiti and Venezuela, before the team was eliminated in the round of 16 against Switzerland. The player is also distinguished by clear scoring abilities and a strong shot.

The report confirmed that Barcelona is in an advanced position to finalize the deal, especially given the absence of strikers from Barcelona Atlètic due to injuries to both Óscar Gistau and Víctor Barberá, with the club continuing to explore additional options to strengthen the youth category in the future.
