Chelsea star Pedro Neto appeared in a press statement following qualification to the English League Cup semi-finals after winning against Cardiff City with a score of (3-1).

Neto said about qualifying for the semi-finals: "This is a very important achievement. The coach said this is the third time we have reached the semi-finals in the past eighteen months, so we are very happy with this accomplishment. We secured the win and are already looking forward to the next match."

He added: "Sometimes we controlled the course of the game, but at other times, the small details make the difference. Perhaps we lost some focus due to the many corners we had during the match, and at the first scoring opportunity after the corners, they scored a goal. So there was some distraction, but in the end, we managed to qualify, and we are very happy."

He emphasized: "Focus was the decisive factor. We had a fierce desire to win this match. We were strongly aiming to win. Then we had players capable of making a difference, and Garnacho [Alejandro Garnacho] contributed significantly today by scoring two goals."

He concluded: "We are Chelsea, we want to win titles, our mentality is to win every match."
