Chelsea star Alejandro Garnacho appeared in a press statement after qualifying for the League Cup semi-finals by winning against Cardiff City with a score of 3-1.

The player said in his speech: "Cardiff was a very strong team. We did not focus on the league they play in. They gave a great performance, but we are happy to qualify for the semi-finals."

He added: "I was brought into the match and tried to help the team. Pedro, I, and the rest of the players did that. We are very happy."

He continued: "As a team, we are performing very well. Sometimes you have to start matches as a starter, and other times you have to come on as a substitute. We do not focus on this, we just try to help the team."

He concluded: "We will strive to compete for everything, and the semi-final is the next match, so we will try to win."
