Galatasaray Monitors Rüdiger's Future with Real Madrid
Saturday 13-12-2025
The website "Fichajes" reported that the Turkish club Galatasaray is showing great interest in signing the German defender Antonio Rüdiger during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Rüdiger, who is no longer part of Xabi Alonso's plans at Real Madrid, has yet to determine his contractual future, which gives the Turkish club an opportunity to negotiate before the end of January.

Rüdiger's contract with Real Madrid ends at the conclusion of the current season, and no agreement has been reached yet for its renewal. Despite the high regard for his performance within the team, the player is reviewing the offers available to him to decide his future. This has led Galatasaray to prioritize him as their top target to strengthen their defense in the Turkish league and the UEFA Champions League.

Rüdiger, 32 years old, is regarded as an experienced player with physical toughness and the ability to read the game, making him the ideal choice to strengthen the defense line. The Turkish club also believes that his current contract situation may allow them to acquire him at a reasonable cost before his contract expires.

From Real Madrid's side, they appreciate Rüdiger's level and skills, but he is not part of the current coach's future plans. With the recurring injuries in defense, he may remain an important player for the team; however, the club is carefully considering renewal options, which leaves the door open for Galatasaray's attempts.

Currently, Real Madrid does not intend to allow Rüdiger to leave unless there is a strong offer that cannot be refused, while the player continues to evaluate all available options before making the final decision that will impact the defense lines of both the Spanish and Turkish clubs.
