Slot: Salah is like all Liverpool players, and this is his stance on the Brighton match

Dutchman Arne Slot, the head coach of Liverpool, confirmed that he has the same feelings towards Egyptian star Mohamed Salah as he does towards any other player in the team, in response to recent statements made by the player.

Slot said: "The current situation is not good for the club, the team, or Salah himself. We showed our reaction by excluding him from the Inter match, which reflects how we felt about his statements."

He added about the decision to exclude Salah from the Inter Milan match squad: "The decision was made jointly with Liverpool's management for disciplinary reasons."

Regarding the possibility of Salah returning to the lineup against Brighton, Slot said: "We will see what happens in the future, but for now, my full focus is on the upcoming match against Inter."

Slot explained the reasons for keeping Salah on the bench in recent matches: "Liverpool is struggling this season, and the competing teams have started to understand our style of play. So, I tried to come up with something new before the West Ham match, and that's why Salah was kept on the bench. Everyone has the right to use the words they want, and we also have the right to respond to words that we cannot accept."

Slot continued: "I love all the players whether they play regularly or not, while some players like the coach when they play, but when they don't play, they don't like him as much."

He concluded his statements by saying: "For me, I love Mohamed Salah just as much as I love all the other players at Liverpool."
