Amorim: I felt from the first minute that we would win the match

Manchester United coach Rúben Amorim appeared in a press statement after the 4-1 victory over Wolverhampton in the fifteenth round of the English Premier League.

The coach said: "I think we started the match very well, scored a goal, then allowed Wolverhampton to come back a bit into the game. We struggled in the final moments of the first half, but in the second half, we played with good rhythm and high-quality decision-making. We finished the match excellently, and Wolves are going through a difficult time. It was a good evening."

He added: "We scored four goals, but we had many more shots, so I can't directly link that to us becoming more clinical. I believe we have improved significantly compared to last season. This season, we create many more chances, score more goals, and generate genuinely dangerous situations, so I am very happy with that."

Regarding the appearance of the attacking line as a moving trio: "They have the quality that allows them to do that. They can switch positions, especially when playing with a player like Matheus Cunha, who moves more than a traditional striker, and we took advantage of that."

He concluded: "From the very first minute, I felt that we would win the match, whether the goal came early or not. I truly enjoyed the way we played in the second half. We have to win the next match; this is now in the past. Let's go."
