Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that he will strive to lead the Pharaohs to the best possible positions in the 2026 World Cup.
Regarding Egypt's group in the World Cup, which includes Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand, Hossam Hassan said: "We are ready and will do our utmost to secure one of the top positions in the World Cup and to perform impressively in the most important event in the world."
He continued: "We have great players who are eager, along with the coaching staff, to achieve outstanding results in the World Cup."
Hossam Hassan added: "We are currently focusing on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will begin in a few days in our brotherly country, Morocco."
He confirmed: "We have prepared ourselves and will work hard against every team we face, whether Belgium, Iran, or New Zealand, because we want to continue to the final stages of the tournament."
