Romanian coach Olario Cosmin, head of the UAE national team, praised the Egyptian national team, affirming that it is one of the best teams in the Arab Cup currently being held in Qatar.

The UAE national team will face the Egypt national team today, Saturday, in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup at Lusail Stadium.

Cosmin said at the pre-match press conference: "We have a tough match ahead against one of the best teams in the tournament, and our goal is to learn from past mistakes and secure a victory."

He continued: "The players spent a day recovering after the match against the Jordanian team in the first round, and my team is facing difficulties. We know that the match against Egypt will be tough, especially after the opening loss (1-2)."

He added: "We haven't been lucky in several matches, and this is the nature of football, but it is essential to maintain a positive mindset to overcome challenges and strive to win every upcoming game."

He explained: "Kuwait performed well against Egypt, and we, for our part, played 80 minutes with ten players in the previous match. Despite that, we managed to maintain possession of the ball. Now, we have to attack and find the ability and determination to organize our team."
