Helmy Toulan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, confirmed that the Pharaohs are ready to face the UAE in the Arab Cup.
The Egyptian national team will face the UAE national team this evening, Saturday, in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup at Lusail Stadium.
At the press conference before the match, Toulan said that the short time between games does not allow for extended training sessions, explaining that the coaching staff is focusing on recovery programs to maintain the players' readiness to continue in the tournament.
He added that the team relies on video lectures to analyze mistakes and identify positives, in addition to giving players sufficient rest to avoid injuries.
Toulan pointed to the strength of the UAE national team, highlighting that it has fast offensive players who are skilled at dribbling, especially the front four. He also mentioned that the coaching staff has identified their strengths in order to address them during the match.
