Julen Lopetegui, the coach of the Qatar national team, spoke about his team's match against Syria scheduled for today, Thursday, in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.

The Qatar national team lost to the Palestine national team 1-0 in the first round of the tournament.

Lopetegui said in the press conference before today's match: "We don't want to talk now about what happened two days ago, and we need to put in more effort to overcome the Syrian team. This type of tournament is fast-paced, and whether we win or lose, we must move forward and do our best."

The Spanish coach added that the team will try to do their duty despite the challenges, including the absence of key players due to injury.

The Qatar national team will seek a different performance to avoid getting involved in complicated calculations before the third and final match against Tunisia.
