Algerian national team striker Yacine Brahimi expressed his satisfaction with his teammates' performance, despite the goalless draw against Sudan in the team's first match of the Arab Cup.

Brahimi said in statements after the match held at Al Bayt Stadium: "I am proud of the large attendance of Algerian fans, which exceeded forty thousand spectators, and I extend my sincere thanks to them for their constant support."

He added: "We will return to training tomorrow, and we will focus on securing a win in the upcoming match against Bahrain. Our goal is to perform better and achieve a positive result."

Brahimi praised the level at which the Sudanese national team performed, affirming: "The Sudanese team delivered a strong performance and impressed me with their physical strength and good organization on the field."

The Al-Gharafa striker concluded his statements by confirming his readiness for the upcoming matches, noting that he remained on the bench throughout the game due to a tactical decision by coach Majid Bougherra, who preferred to give him additional rest to avoid a recurrence of the injury he had previously sustained with his club.
