Mohamed Salah Returns to the Radar of the Saudi League
Thursday 04-12-2025
Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the star of English club Liverpool, remains a top target for Saudi Professional League clubs, despite a relative dip in his performance this season with the Reds.

Despite turning down a huge offer worth £500 million last summer to renew his contract with Liverpool for two more years, efforts to recruit him have continued.

According to talkSPORT network today, Tuesday, dealmakers in Saudi Arabia are still working on completing the signing of Salah, who is 33 years old, at some point, with the possibility of reopening the matter early next summer.

Al Hilal Club is considered the leading candidate to sign the player, while Al Qadsiah Club has also shown interest in the deal.

This comes alongside Salah's struggle to deliver his usual performance this season, as he was on the bench during Liverpool's recent 2-0 victory over West Ham, sparking renewed speculation about his future at Anfield.

In a related context, the British network revealed that Saudi Arabia has also begun working on a major project to sign Brazilian Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid star, who has been experiencing a period of instability recently, with a plan to make him the highest-paid player in the world if he moves to the Roshn League.
