Moroccan National Team Threatened by Bencharki's Absence in Arab Cup
The Moroccan national team is at risk of losing the services of star player Achraf Bencharki in the Arab Cup due to injury.
The Moroccan star sustained an injury in the match between Al Ahly and Royal Army Club in the CAF Champions League, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical team at Al Ahly club, revealed the nature of the injury sustained by the Moroccan international, explaining that Bencharki is experiencing pain in the lower part of the thigh muscle.
Gaballah said in statements published by the Egyptian club on its official accounts: "Bencharki is suffering from pain in the lower thigh muscle, and we will conduct tests for him."
The medical official confirmed that Al Ahly will send a detailed report to the coaching and medical staff of the Moroccan national team to complete the examinations and determine the player's readiness to join the Moroccan national team's camp in Qatar.
