Mahmoud Abu El-Dahab Attacks Ramadan Sobhi
Mahmoud Abu El-Dahab, former Al Ahly star, attacked Ramadan Sobhi, the Pyramids player, following the suspension of the player due to a doping case.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) issued a decision to suspend Ramadan Sobhi from playing football for 4 years due to a doping case.
Abu El-Dahab said on the program "El Primo" on Ten TV: "If I were in Ramadan Sobhi's place, I wouldn't do what he's doing. Behaviorally, the player made a mistake, and the club does not bear any responsibility at all, because this is an individual behavior, and he has wronged himself."
He added: "Ramadan Sobhi would have been the captain of Al Ahly if he had stayed and not left. He is a great player and a tremendous talent. I feel very sorry for him, but he was the one who made the mistake. May God relieve his distress."
He concluded his statements: "A player who doesn't take care of his talent and the blessing that God has given him is a failed player. There are people less talented than you who have become stars because they are disciplined, respect themselves, and take care of themselves."
