Manchester United coach Rúben Amorim appeared in a press statement after the 1-0 loss against Everton in the twelfth round of the English Premier League.

The coach said: "They were better than us whether they had 11 players or 10 players. I felt that we were not as strong. They deserved to win."

He added: "The other team helped us with the red card situation, but we should have done more at every moment. If they play with 10 players, we have to press them and push them into the final third."

He emphasized: "We have to put in more effort."

Regarding the team's performance and whether there was a decline: "Yes. Especially in our style of play. Forget the result. The result is very bad, but I was more concerned about the feeling I had during the match."

He concluded: "What did I say to the players? Nothing. We have training tomorrow. We will deal with it tomorrow."
