Spanish club Real Betis announced today, Sunday, that they have reached an agreement with Isco to renew his contract with the club, keeping him tied to the Green House until June 2028.

Isco joined Real Betis in the summer of 2023 and quickly became a key player for the team, not only with his outstanding performance on the field but also off the field as a role model. He also became the team's first captain.

Since his arrival, Isco has participated in 69 official matches with Real Betis, scoring 21 goals and providing 18 assists over two seasons marked by the team securing qualification spots for continental competitions and reaching the club's first-ever European final.

The outstanding performance of the Andalusian star did not go unnoticed by the Spanish national team, which recalled him to its ranks last June after a six-year absence.

The Spanish club announced the extension of Isco's contract in a special way before today's match against Girona, displaying a tifo before the game featuring the player's image alongside the number 2028, a gesture that was well received and admired by the fans.
