Bellerín close to renewing contract with Real Betis
It seems that Héctor Bellerín's future with Real Betis is set to continue, despite his contract with the club expiring in the summer of 2027.
According to Spanish newspaper "AS", the management of the Andalusian club trusts the player and intends to make an offer to renew his contract in the upcoming period.
Héctor Bellerín is enjoying stability with Real Betis, having returned to the club after a spell with Barcelona, and has become a regular part of coach Manuel Pellegrini's project. There are no signs of any disagreements regarding his continuation, especially since the player himself has confirmed on several occasions his happiness to be with the team.
Bellerín stated in remarks to "Radio Sevilla" a few days ago, in response to a question about his future: "When I decided to come back here, I thought about playing here for the rest of my career. I have a good relationship with Manuel, and with the management, and this is something we have always talked about. The club knows my feelings. If it were up to me, I would stay here for life."
Héctor Bellerín was a key player for Real Betis during the 2021-2022 season, when the team won the Copa del Rey. His assist for Borja Iglesias' goal in the final remains etched in the memory of the club's fans, while the player continues to play an important role for the team, also benefiting from his previous experience with Arsenal, which is something that Pellegrini values highly.
