Behind the Scenes of Imam Ashour's Call with Ahmed Hassan to Participate in the Arab Cup
Media personality Ahmed Hassan revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his call with Imam Ashour, the Al Ahly star who requested to join Egypt's second national team for the Arab Cup.
The Arab Cup tournament will be held from December 1 to 18 in Qatar.
Ahmed Hassan said on the program "Al Captain" on the "dmc" channel: "Imam Ashour contacted me to participate in the Arab Cup with the national team."
He continued: "I am happy about Emam's return and his participation with Al Ahly once again after his recovery, and I will be glad to have him with the Egypt national team in the upcoming period."
He added: "I hope Emam Ashour will participate with the Egyptian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations. He is an outstanding player and strives to give his best from the very first minute of playing."
He concluded: "Imam is a 'gifted' player who gives his all. Today, he played for about 15 to 20 minutes, took around 3 to 4 shots, scored one goal, and assisted another. This is what distinguishes him as an outstanding and influential player for his team."
