Barcelona achieved a big victory over Athletic Bilbao with a score of 4-0 in the match held at Spotify Camp Nou as part of the 13th round of the Spanish league.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring early in the 4th minute, before Ferran Torres added the second goal in the 45+3 minute after a wonderful pass from Yamal.

At the beginning of the second half, Fermín López extended the lead with a third goal in the 49th minute, then Ferran Torres sealed the fourth with a goal in the 90th minute.

The match witnessed the sending off of Athletic Bilbao player Oihan Sancet in the 54th minute, which increased the Basque team's struggles for the remainder of the game.

With this win, Barcelona raised its points to 31, taking sole temporary lead of the Spanish league standings, while Athletic Bilbao's points remained at 17 in eighth place.

Real Madrid comes in second place with the same points total of 31 but will play their match against Elche tomorrow, Sunday, which could reshuffle the top of the table.
