Enrique: Winning Is Most Important, and We Need All Players Against Le Havre
Sunday 23-11-2025
Spanish coach Luis Enrique, head of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed the readiness of his players for tomorrow's match against Le Havre on Saturday, as part of the 13th round of the 2025/2026 French Ligue 1 season, to be held at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Enrique said: "Yesterday we only had six players in training, but today we have all the players back, and we are happy about that. We have eight matches ahead before the winter break, and we look forward to returning to training at full strength."

He continued: "We always strive to improve and achieve victory, and we want to stay at the top of the league. We also have two important matches in the Champions League before the end of the year, as well as matches in the French Cup and the Confederations Cup."

He added: "Le Havre is a tough team, currently twelfth in the league. Our match against them last season was challenging, and this is the first game after the break, which requires full concentration from all the players."

He explained: "Under these circumstances, winning is the primary goal. We are aware of the expectations regarding our level, and to achieve our best performance, we need all the players. We are moving forward, and winning is what matters most."

He also said: "Achraf Hakimi delivers an outstanding performance both defensively and offensively. He is not just a defender but excels in every aspect. We look forward to continuing this level of performance, and most importantly, for him to be an influential player for the team."

He continued about Ousmane Dembélé: "His condition is improving, and he might participate a little in training today, but we are cautious and will adapt to his needs."

He added about Marquinhos: "He will be playing his 500th match. His level of professionalism, defensive skills, and offensive abilities are all very high, and this will be a remarkable achievement for him."

He concluded his speech by saying: "Some players did not participate during the international break, but they train at home and come to the training facility to work on technical aspects. These sessions are not limited to tactical aspects only."
