Sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobeir, former Al Ahly star, confirmed that it is impossible for his son Mustafa, the goalkeeper for Al Ahly, to join Zamalek in the future.

In television remarks on the program "Kholaset Al Kalam" aired on Al-Nahar channel, Shobeir said: "Mostafa Shobeir is very much an Ahly fan and would never go to Zamalek Club under any circumstances, with all due respect. He was raised in an Ahly household."

He added: "I received offers for Mustafa from Spain, Poland, and Saudi Arabia, which we had not announced before. I also had a delegation from Spain that met with Al-Ahly officials, and they told them, 'Mustafa Shobeir is not for sale.'"

Shobeir continued: "I definitely hope for my son to play professionally abroad in European leagues, specifically the English and Spanish leagues, but ultimately it is his wish and the club's decision, and we are Al Ahly supporters."
