Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper revealed the latest developments regarding Hussein El Shahat, the Al Ahly star.
The newspaper stated that El Shahat performed physical training by running around the field on the sidelines of the group training held on Thursday evening in preparation for the match against JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly is set to face JS Kabylie next Saturday as part of the first round of the group stage in the CAF Champions League.
The newspaper added that Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the team doctor, confirmed that Hussein El Shahat is undergoing the final phase of the rehabilitation program before participating in group training, following the injury he sustained earlier, a hamstring tear.
