Nicolas Jackson's Position on Returning to Chelsea
Sunday 23-11-2025
The Sun newspaper confirmed that Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson is determined to succeed with Bayern Munich, despite reports suggesting he might return to Chelsea next summer.

Jackson moved to Bayern Munich on loan for £14.2 million and has scored three goals in 12 matches since joining, demonstrating his quick adaptation to the Bavarian club and his desire to win titles this season.

The newspaper pointed out that Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany played a key role in signing the player, and that there is mutual respect between the management and Jackson's circle. Meanwhile, the player is currently focused on helping the team without considering a departure in January, and no decision has yet been made regarding his long-term future.

Chelsea hopes that Jackson will deliver an outstanding performance that will prompt Bayern Munich to activate the £56.2 million purchase option. The London club paid £32 million to sign him from Villarreal in 2023. He has scored 30 goals and provided 12 assists in 81 matches over two successful seasons with the team.

Jackson has also formed a strong bond with his new teammate Luis Díaz and is striving to continue shining in the German league and achieve the Bavarian team's goals this season.
